Alhucemas 25 Think Tank

Think Tank Alhucemas 25

An independent, rigorous, open, resilient and collaborative space.

01 The Think Tank

A space for the exchange of ideas among experts

Launch of the Alhucemas 25 Think Tank
8 September · Centenary of the Alhucemas Landing

On 8 September, coinciding with the Centenary of the Landing in the Bay of Alhucemas, we launched the ALHUCEMAS 25 Think Tank, a new ACSD initiative.

This initiative brings together leading business figures, politicians, military officers and academics with the shared goal of gathering around the Think Tank a group of specialists able to research and reflect on some of the issues facing the Security and Defence sector, creating a space for the exchange of ideas among experts.

The Think Tank is an independent, rigorous, open, resilient and collaborative space. Its activities include foresight analysis, forums, meetings and publications, raising awareness of national identity, security and defence education, and collaboration with institutions and civil society.

The Alhucemas 25 Think Tank does not aim to duplicate the work already carried out so brilliantly by leading think tanks in our country. The issues it will analyse, and for which it will seek solutions, will focus on the everyday functioning of the system, with the aim of proposing solutions that improve the living conditions of members of the Armed Forces and the State Security Forces, as well as the potential of Spanish companies in the Security and Defence industry.

We hope that this initiative will make a significant contribution to raising awareness of Security and Defence in our country, improving the conditions of all those involved in defending the values that underpin our democratic system.
